Holiday Gift Guide
Just For You: My 2020 Holiday Gift Guide
Gift-giving is my number one Love Language. What that really means is I love to give gifts. I love the hunt for the perfect gift, the presentation and the joy of seeing someone open it. My husband, however, would say that the Love Language of gift-giving probably lands pretty low on his list of skills. Unlike me, he finds the hunt for the perfect gift painful. He solicits the help of my girls to wrap it and he is happy when it is opened and the process is over. Don’t worry, we are happily married and after 23 years, we have learned to appreciate and respect our differences.
Keeping those with and without the gift-giving Love Language in mind, I have created a 31 Chapters Giving Guide. This guide is going to thrill some of you gift-giving Love Language comrades out there, but I also hope it will relieve the pain of the perfect gift hunt for those of you who find your gift-giving skills to be holding on by a thread during this holiday season.
These wooden spoons are at the top of my gift-giving list. The attention to detail of each spoon will make any kitchen-lover giddy. Arranged in the Cash Pitcher, they create the perfect functional decor in your kitchen. The extra bonus is that they come wrapped in the most darling muslin bag. So the presentation has been taken care of for you! Add a vintage velvet ribbon, sprig of fresh greens and you have the perfect gift for mom, your friend, any cooking enthusiast or even just a holiday hostess.
This matte black pitcher is vintage in shape and lines, but modern in style. It is large enough to make a statement on the shelf, hold all your Shawna Spoons on the counter or serve loved ones gathered around a farmhouse table a glass of water. A holiday gift that will keep on giving long after the holidays are over.
These are must-haves. They can be used anywhere for anything. Next to your bed to collect your jewelry or coins, on a desk to hold your paper clips or beautifully grace a coffee table or book shelf with other decor items. They are heavy in weight because of the solid craftsmanship and block marble structure. Jayden Bowls can be used alone or in a collection of all three sizes.
These crocks might just be my favorite decor item right now. The matte black paired with the crisp flour color makes this girl so happy. Place on a book shelf for decor or in a kitchen for coffee bar storage... the options are endless. They are a must-have going into the New Year, and personally I could never have too many!
Those of us that spend much time in the kitchen know that a new, fresh linen tea towel is a breath of fresh air. These tea towels will make the dish washing experience more enjoyable. Crisp linen with sayings such as “Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk,” “Well Done”, and “Mind your Manners” will make one smile when the dishes do not. Pair these tea towels with one of our 31 Chapters Charcuterie Boards and together you will give a gift that will ensure an invitation back to next year’s holiday festivities. If you have a strong domestic side that loves the value of something homemade, wrap a loaf of homemade bread in these treasured linen tea towels and deliver a gift that is sure to delight.
Be it a beautiful cheese display or your favorite holiday cookies, a 31 Chapters Charcuterie Board arrangement is the perfect way to wow your guests. If you need to bring something yummy to that next holiday party, serve your addition on our Christmas tree Ryah Charcuterie Board and leave the board for your hostess to enjoy after all the clean up is over. They are sure to always think of you!
Adelle Cookbook Holder
As much as I love cookbooks, and I do love cookbooks... to pull up on one’s iPad or device. That is why the Adele Cookbook Holder holds both your favorite cookbooks and your iPad. It is the perfect kitchen side-kick, plus it just makes a beautiful display. It is lovely on the counter and is convenient while standing at the stove or over that mixer. When you’re not pulling up recipes, it can display family photos rolling through that iPad screen; the perfect reminder of one’s “Create Room” story.
Gia Cake Stand and Nina Dome
Who doesn’t love a beautiful cake and who doesn’t love it displayed on a beautiful cake stand with a dipped white base? The Gia Cake Stand is the perfect piece to pull out for every holiday and celebration. From Christmas to birthday parties, it is a show-stopper. When it is not being used for dessert, it is still just as beautiful on your open shelving. The handblown Nina Dome makes it unique from any other and provides the perfect way to protect your delicious goodies from those little fingers before dinner. The Nina Dome paired with the Gia Cake Stand is the perfect gift for those who treasure a true celebration.
Kaneel White Garland
When Christmas has come and gone, the Kaneel White Garland can move from your tree to your decor. These hand-painted beads are beautiful spilling out of the Jayden Bowls on your coffee table or next to your bed. They can add texture to any shelf and they can fill any open jar. They are neutral in color and the raw wood detailing adds a natural element that everyone will love.
I love guests. It is often that we find our homes full during the holidays and we spruce up the guest room in preparation for the family to arrive. The perfect addition to any guest room is our Arlo Carafe. Position the Carafe next to your guest’s bed for a glass of water before turning off the lights or to quench a bit of thirst in the night. Your guests will feel as if they have checked in to a quaint bed and breakfast owned by their favorite people.
